Bloom/Wrought iron problem

We used to get q 50+ bloom from our finery forge from q 40 iron by using good coal.

Since the latest patch tho the bloom in the finery forge remains q40 and when we use the anvil to turn it into wrought iron the q either drops or remains the same. It never improves as it should.

We haven't changed our equipment and the anvil works fine with other items (tested on steeds)

Anyone else with this problem?
