Infinite Loop BSOD

Postby Dataslycer » Mon May 23, 2011 12:25 am

This only happens when HnH has been open for some duration of time while another application is up. Basically a symptom before it occurs is the computer sudden freezes up and the graphics becomes glitched and I can only move my mouse. Most of the time it unfreezes up after 10-20 seconds but at times it causes my computer to go into a BSOD with an indication to this file: nv4_disp. I have updated my graphics driver already but it still persists.

One last mention, it only seems to occur when I have HnH up but doesn't seem to occur with any other java based games.

Weird, does it only happen when a certain application is open or does any application cause it over this timeframe?

Your not the only one, it has been a long running issue for me, but got alot worse with the last java update. I have reached a small semblance of stability by setting my paging file to 0 mb. In case your not sure how to get there, control panel -> system -> advanced tab -> preformance options -> advanced tab
there will be a virtual memory thing you can click in the third field to change the amount, and it will require a reboot to take effect. Hope it works for you :D
