Trespassing container theft with no scents.

1.) Find a cart

2.) Put cart on the east line of the claim, don't put the cart onto the claim though just close.

3.) Bring container to the very edge of the claim, put it on the left side of the cart and walk off the plot, now lift the container from outside of the plot.

4.) Put the container into the cart, then pull the cart away from the claim.


Container/liftable object can now be taken and placed anywhere.


What does this mean? You can now steal with trespassing and leave no summonable scent.

Edit; I'd have to test this from all angles but as far as I can tell so long as you can put the object you want to steal next to the edge of someone's claim you can do this from all positions, the exceptions are placing the object behind the cart sprite because it stops you placing it close enough to the edge.

Turns out you can do this even without a cart or boat. If you log out while holding the container (at step 3), it drops on unclaimed land, and you can interact with it freely once you log back in.

This is a known bug for quite a while now, pretty much since objects were set to drop in a random spot away from the character because you couldn't log back in if you got logged out while carrying something.
