Level 1 boars Pwning

I saw a level one boar and attacked it, thinking, "ah, easy LP." I've fought L1 boars before, and they are easy. I've killed them with 10 unarmed chars with 10 str.

And I found I was unable to hit it. I got 15 Pts of initiative for some reason... but couldn't hit it. And it kept following me. It knocked out someone who tried to kill it for me, and is still following me as I skirt the coast of center lake.

So I'll keep walking and looking for someone to kill this boar.
If, someday, you see a man wading through the lake, eyes always on the shore wary for tusks, beware, for you just might be... IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE.

EDIT: Ok, it despawned to my great relief. What was driving the Thor Boar?
