Bear Cape Recipe

Postby khadji » Mon Jun 13, 2011 6:58 am

It would appear that I cannot Craft a Bear cape, I have all the mats and have, Skinned, Gutted, and collected the bones of a bear, I also took off the hide from the drying rack myself, and yet still the recipe doesnt show up...Any ideas? has this happened to anyone else?

Make sure you have enough free slots in your inventory when you collect the bones, or the teeth will drop on the ground thus not being considered a discovery.

I will kill another bear to see if it is the teeth, though I have the Bear tooth tali so...you'd think I had discovered it...

If you have BTT, yes you did discover it.

You can try skinning again too though and double check pulling it off the thing, don't 'click' it, make sure you 'shift click' it, don't think it works with regular clicks.

The problem is you need to collect the dried hide froma rack, not from skinning a bear itself.

Nope, I live with him.
He pulled out a boar hide, not a bear hide.
