Eternal Night?

The GUI that displays the day night cycle is empty for me, no sun or moon to be found anywhere.

Is this normal or is anyone else experiencing something like this?

Atlas shrugged (man, what a horrible place for that....)

Graphics glitch. They happen no matter what client you're using from what I've seen. Only way to fix is to close the client and restart. Unless I'm in need of the time for something (fishing, dewy lady's mantle, etc), I just ignore the day/night cycle and have nightvision on in Ender's.
