thanks to those lags I was killed today by a boar thank You very much for this... now I have to start everything from the beggining..(there was no boar nearby and sudetly I was dead and boar standing at my body)

Yeah, I got KOd yesterday morning by a herd of 15 or so Aurochen...
In total lost about 100 hhp :/
They kept on deaggroing and reaggroing.

yeah yesterday I was killing a bear from a boat
and when It ran I chased it from afar shooting
then it raged i was retreating to my boat and the game started lagging
when the game resumed it was very close, I got into the boat just in time with the bear 2 tiles away

I just had a similar experience, i suddenly found myself being chased by a boar and managed to go to running mode and was outpacing it, then suddenly my game freezes and i had to close the window. When i logged back in my character was gone. This game is still too glitchy to have permadeath yet. Honestly I can't see myself continuing to play this game unless I get my character back, not after suffering this injustice after investing so much time.

Lesson: don't play games that have real risk if you put that much emotional investment in it.

Edit: Damn, he is actually from 2010. Probably some distinction between people joining before and after the new server would be better.
