Well the past couple of days I have noticed while i was using my boat I sailed down the river and at one point it would not let me continue on like if there was something blocking me. Has anyone else encountered this?

ninja has it right on. What's really going to get your goat is when you run into the invisible wall and see a juicy forageable over there or the bear you're hunting runs that way.
