Forum BBCODE problem

I have BBCODE turned on in my profile. I can use BBCODE when creating a new topic.

When replying to a topic, BBCODE is forced off. It defaults to off and I can't find a way to turn it on.

I have seen others having the same problem, so I think it's probably happening to everyone.

More info: it seems to be forced off if the original post had it off.
