Still alive but cant play as that character

hey my character is still alive and im sure he has not died anyway cause i was in a village with a load of mates and i made a new character and went to check and my character is still there in the same bed where i left him sleeping and this is really annoying seeing as though i spent so long on that character and put so much time into him and now i cant even play as that character even though he has not died

He's dead. Seeing bed animation does not indicate that a character is alive, just that a character used a bed to log out.
Check to see if your hearthfire is still lit. If your character's hearthfire is still going strong then that means they're still alive.

i believe if you see a "sleeping" wich is not really there and you right click the bed it will reveal if it is really sleeping there.

Is your character not still in the login screen? or are you pressing to play him and its just not letting u log on him?

its not even in the log in screen :/ mhe put so much time into him :/ really making me wanting to play less :/

Are you sure your HF is still lit? It sounds like u were summoned =s . Was their a runestone to inherit this chars stats in the creation room?

Well, if the hearthfire is still there and you're not seeing him on the login screen there are a few possible scenarios.

1) That's not actually your hearthfire
2) You're logged into the wrong account
3) You're making this up
4) This is a unique, legitimate bug

If possible, also double check your char gen room to see if there's a gravestone in the bottom left hand corner with an alt. This can be used to confirm death.

yeah there was a double account where a word is not spelled correctly, but i did not even remember making the other account and i only ever made one account but each account contained one character which was exactly the same character... so im a bit confused im using my right account now sorry for the hassle but thanks for the help

You probably made another account unintentionally with a different capitalization. The user name is case sensitive.
