Since you already have criminal acts on, sure you're not leaving theft scents?

I wouldn't be surprised at this, though. There are many ways to circumvent leaving theft scents. As far as I can tell, if you don't actually pick it up (on your cursor), it's not theft. (Note that using shortcut keys to drop, transfer, etc. still count as picking up.)

What I meant was that with only the trespassing skill you're able to feast on a table that's in another persons claim.

I just checked and they do, though I'm not sure about what scents are left since I don't have ranging.

Makes sense. Trespassing lets you interact with objects on a claim. If you were trying to pick the food up, that would require theft. Using the table to interact with food on it should just be trespassing.

I think TeckX is just clarifiyng the underlying game mechanics. It should of course leave theft scents.
