Tanning Tub Availability

So things are finally going well for a character of mine, as opposed to every other character I've made which has showed up in the worst places and/or unable to find bone for weeks.

And now, just when I think everything is going just peachy, I find that my tanning tub does not actually show up in my "Build" tab, even when I have all of the materials required, plus the skill needed. I have many dried rabbit furs eager to become a backpack, but it seems I'm not able to bend the planks, bark, buckets, and water to my will.

I see that someone else had a similar problem, and just had to restart the client( and I use vanilla client). How would I do such a thing? I've tried a few other things, like reinstalling Java, downgrading it to 1.5 and then back up again... I even tried creating a new username and seeing if that works. I got nothing so far. Any help?

I know you've said that you have the skills but do you have leather working? You get it after you learn animal husbandry.

Stupid question perhaps, but better safe than sorry: Did you saw the boards yourself?

Both are yes. I got the leatherworking skill, among other things.

And yes, I made the boards all by me onesy, since you couldn't just pick it up and get the options to build anything with it.

check list
1. leather working skill
2. discovering boards (cut a log into boards)
3. discovering buckets and water (buckets of water)
4. discovering dried hides (picking a dried hide from the drying frame)
5. discovering barks (picking a bark from trees)

-re-doing them all just to make sure might help...?
-re-check all icons you have in your build menu, too, just in case.
-not really sure about client side issues, but maybe you should try the official client too, just to see if you have the tanning tub icon in the menu or not.
