Cupboard bug (i'm sure it is)

The whole story.
I've traveled for some time. Around two weeks ago an abandoned claim had some cupboards around, thought about an ex cabin now disappeared. Well ok. I pass over.

Today i was walking near there and the cupboards was still there. Didn't remembered well if was in the same place, anyway i was in need to drop some item for some minut. There was 3 cupboards, i put some item in 2 of them, then i need to reboot my pc so i log out.
When i log in, few minuts later, the two cupboards was disappeared, only the third where i didn't put inside nothing was still there. I'm sure no one was following me and there was no one near, now:

1 - there is a low low low probability that someone went there, picked up my stuff, uselessly smashed the 2 cupboards (and not the third that casually i didn't have thouched) and ran away without touch anything else.

or

2 - the cupboards was bugged 'cuz, probably, really was the cupboard of the past weeks. So, when i've interacted with those, after a while they auto disappeared for..uhm..decay maibe. (10 minuts). And the only one cupboard safe is the only one i didn't touched.

Now i've put some stuff in the third cupboard and i've logged out. (there are only logs, so nothing to steal for.)
Gonna see if it will disappear. Anyway, did anyone find something weird like this?

Well, cupboards do decay completely in 1 decay tick..so that is possible. It's very possible too that someone smashed them, you never know, but i think the first option is more likely.

so they was probably freezed until i've touched them. The other cupboard will disappear at the next pitch i suppose.

Ok.

The whole stuff about "cupboard can be built only in house - chair only in house - my sister only in house" is totally new to me so i didn't realized that a cupboard outside was dangerous.
Good to know and weird that those cupboards survived almost a month or so.
