Could not connect to server

Postby GREENseverity » Tue Sep 20, 2011 3:45 am

Hello there,

I know this has been posted millions of times, but I haven't found an answer to my question. I use the client from the Haven and Hearth website and it gives the Could not connect to server error message. The client works on my friend's computer, and my computer is far better than his, in terms of processor and ram and all that jazz. I've tried Ender's version of the client, but i just can't get it to work it just closes after a couple seconds. Hope someone can help me with this unfortunate problem. I love this game!
Thank you for your time.

Run a search on that M_So and if you can't find anything post it in the Ender's Client thread. Phaedes and Ender are best equipped to help with an issue like that.

So what step in the process were you able to get to? Run.bat worked okay and you were able to open the game client? Have you tried pressing any key?

Well, command prompt didn't close like it usually did. I did press any key and it just closed it.

Sounds like you inserted a pause. You do this so that you can observe any errors occurring that are preventing the game from starting. Are there any errors?

Nope I can't seem to find any, thanks I did not really want to ask if it was a common problem and sound like a noob. XD I'll go ask now like I should have a long time ago.

Can you give a screenshot of the error? Upload it to imgur if you need an image host.
