Knocked Out

My character on H&H was hungry so I found a termite mound and attacked it (stupidly, as I had no combat moves and I generally suck at combat). My character, obviously, had his butt handed to him and he was knocked unconcious. However, for some reason he can't get back up! Its been roughly a day and he still hasn't gotten to his feet. I've had a look through the wiki and I'm pretty certain he's not dead, so I need someone just to tell me what to do...

Once the stars disappear from above your head you can move around normally.
