cant dig on mudflats

is their something wrong with mudflats or am i just doing it wrong because i cant get acre caly from them. i dig then the little hourglass icon appears and nothing happans. a few times i was able to get some clay but only one piece and this only happened twice. help i need some clay asap

The clay node on that mudflat ran out of clay. Find a node with higher quality clay to deplete and you'll get more clay out of it, a lot more. Any node with q10 clay probably will only yield 1 clay before being exhausted. It takes roughly 2 real time days without being touched for a node to fully recover from being exhausted.
