Okay I have suffered for days because of this really bad glitch but luckily i have found a way to fix this and i hope it helps you!

The fix to this glitch is actually a lot simpler than i thought go to control panel then under Programs there is Uninstall a Program then find java
and uninstall then restart pc.
after that go to
http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp
and download that then try to run the game and it will download again after that the game should work!

Q:WHY DID I HAVE TO UNINSTALL JAVA IF I WAS GONNA RE-DOWNLOAD IT ANYWAYS?
A:because if the game crashed its probably because u got the latest version of java which the game doesn't work with so u uninstalled java 7 and then installed java 6!

tell me if u have got any errors after using my method thank you.

Same i never had a problem with mine either. It would have been better if OP just posted the error log so we could see what was going wrong with his client.

Give your error log and we can actually help you. Just saying it crashes doesn't help.
