Swimming lock won't work

It's about time to fix this, I just accidiently bought that freaking skill and after checking security system of "swimming off" i now know that either low stamina, lag or lake combined with single ctrl push could screw up entire months of gameplay.

Maybe a mod to Enders that prevents you from getting into water from boat, or posts a warning?

Swimming lock? What is that?

Swimming usually isn't turned on, and you have to manually turn it on. Easiest keystrokes to do that is A, W, but you will get a notification, and there is even a status buff icon near your portrait when it is on.

The other day I was sailing down a river and then I went to get out on the coast, did my ctrl-click to get out, but it was a lag spike and I got rubberbanded back to the middle of the river in my boat and got the message "Swimming must be turned on." -- So I do understand there is a danger with it, of course. But as I said swimming usually isn't turned on unless you turn it on, and it does give you plenty of notification when it is activated.

Keep in mind the "buff icon" is only there from Ender's, triggered when you use the toggle swimming command. If you're already swimming, if you try to toggle it, swimming will stay on, but the icon off.

@ OP: Keep swimming set to off at all times, I don't see what issue you're having with it as it's working perfectly fine for me at all times.

If you have swimming turned of and ctrl+click at depths when being on a raft, you will start swimming and likely drown.

BTW:
Is there any chance that if I posted to admin, he would remove swimming from me? Just curious...
