Unable to Download/Update Game.

I have lurked the forums, wiki and the help pages.

I start the client. It updates really slow, then this error comes: Unable to launch application.

What I have tried:
-Redownloading java.
-Reinstalling game.

Sidenote: I'm on a school computer. But I have full access to it.

i dont recall the game requiring any update...
are you logging in and pressing the Play button at this site?

Looks to me like the school internet connection might be blocking the download of *.jar files.
