So theresa few of us living on this island and we found a cave, but to see the whole hillside and cave you have to go around the island clockwise, does anybody know why or how to fix it?

I don't understand what's buggy about this or what the problem is even? If you're complaining about the distance between your camp and your cave, move closer to the cave. You cannot terraform hills at the time being.

no im not complaining about distance, right so say you go straight from the camp to the cave its not there, but if you jump in a boat and go clockwise around the island to the cave its there?

I'm entirely unfamiliar with this Schrodinger's cave concept to which you refer. To my knowledge the game is incapable of bending physics or reality like that. I think it's more likely that you're just at a different part of your island or at a different island than where you think the cave is.

ive walked around the shore of the island several times ( the edge because thats were the hillside/cave is) and its not there, but as soon as i get in a boat and go clockwise around the island its there

could it be that the cave is hidden behind a tree/rock/other thing you can't see through? and when you're in your boat north of it you can see it because the item you can't see through is off screen and hasn't loaded?
