character list empty&cant dig any clay

I logged on to my haven and hearth to find my whole character list was completely empty and as you can guess,I was pretty enraged so i said F*** it,then i came back bout 1hour later and created a new character and i got some lp from discoveries and was walking around and found an acre,so i dug,and dug and i cept digging and nothing, absolutely f****ing nothing so i found some water and dug and still nothing i tried thousands of diffrent spots and nothing

the skills i have are
carpentry
foraging
hunting
lumberjacking
oral tradition
plant lore
pottery
primitive tools
wilderness survival

ok yea i already knew that you couldnt dig in the same spot and what not
but i was running around 4 ages in acre and water Trying to DIG!!!
