Inventory Bug

Jooooorb, I lost my cape ;( .

The bug: If you pick up something in the invetory and close it with a shortcut (tab or esc) and open it again, you can't put the thing you picked up before back in your inventory.

Unfortunatly I were standing in the water, so I tried to log off while I still got the cape picked up. It was gone after logging in again.

In my oppinion 2 things should be changed: Obviously the bug I mentioned first and second that something you picked up from your inventory will move back to the inventory when logging off.

Actually, it's a purely graphical bug -- the item you're holding just appears below the inventory window. If you click in the inventory, it will still be placed there.

Actually I've had the same thing happen to me before, with a treeplanter's pot, I was unable to place it back in my inventory even though my inventory was empty. Though that may have just been me clicking in the wrong spot.

I heard you were updating the inventory system, so if you haven't fixed the following:

- With a combination of lag and deselecting an item while eating carrots you can get the "eat" menu stuck, forcing you to relog.
- It's possible to indeed, get your item stuck graphically at your cursor - sometimes this is a tad opaque.

If you fix inventory it would be great to solve the whole "something I'm holding in my hand" range of problems. Maybe just mark it in the inventory rather than remove it and then make the transfer when a destination is selected?

What do you mean VoodooDog?

Another thing you could change is, that you can't drop items with left click on the ground. It should instead move back to the inventory. I think it's not only me who accidentally dropped a lot of things into water. You could make a button "Drop" instead.

Edit: Ctrl + left click is fine, though.
