its all just... gone, vanished, no trace.

The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time..

its all just... gone, vanished, no trace.

this isnt a case of raiding. its an odd one. a few days ago my freind went out and placed an HF in front of a cave, we went out today to go explore the cave, and the moment we entered its area we knew something wasn't right. for one, more than half of the trees were just gone. vanished, stumps and all. we know this isnt because of deforestation because some were still there, the only trees still in existence were those that would keep grass from spreading. also, we found a claim... with no claim stake.all of the buildings that had been on that claim had also vanished, along with my friends HF had vanished. in fact, all player made structures are gone.

take a good look at the upper right corner of the minimap. for some reason the picture of the claim didnt get taken.

Great flood? Bah.

Great no-wood? Yikes.

This seems to be a one of a kind bug, never heard of it before, even though i've been playing since (world 4) I think...

There have been sections "nuked" like this before in previous worlds, but in all those instances ALL trees were destroyed. The fact that just enough trees to perpetuate the forrest remain is interesting.

If an object isn't rendering, it's your system. Not related. (You wouldn't happen to have an ATI card, do you? Trying to formulate a couple of theories on the rendering issues with the client.)

Yeah, that's the strange part. However, with the loss of the HF(s) and the claim there makes it look less like data corruption (not to mention the fact that corruption would likely leave the area unplayable, possibly even unloadable on the server) and more like shenanigans. Question is: if there was a cave entrance there as per what was in the OP, what happened to it?

The claim stake was missing, but not the claim area. Isn't a griever action.
