Unknown person adds itself to my kin list

Whenever I add a hs to my kin list, and then re-log in, a female character in newb clothing named 335j5 appears in my kin list.

I have tested this by spawning a completely new character on a fresh account, adding someone's hs, logging out and back in and this 335j5 appears in my kin list alongside the person I intentionally kinned.

Either I have been haxed or it's something wrong server-side =( Nobody else seems to be complaining about this, though. I'm just using the same Ender's as everyone else.

Quite the oddity indeed (pun slightly intended)
Though it sounds like somethings wrong on your side because no one else seems to have reported it, an i'd assume that most would.

Yeah :( I fear I've been hacked or something. But maybe the kin list is cached client-side and something else is wrong with my computer.

I'd be going through your folder and looking for anything related to a hs error, if it was a hack then wouldn't they have done worse than just add someone to your kin ??

I had this happen to me in w4, i never found out what caused it.

I've not seen where anything is cache client side. I could be wrong, but just have not seeing the timestamp changes you'd expect when a cache gets updated.

maybe someones givin out your hs and they are adding them selfs to your account

Not possible if the kin is being added even on freshly made characters without Hearth secrets or with radically different ones.
