Pedoboar

The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time..

Pedoboar

Postby 100Rads » Mon Feb 06, 2012 9:26 am

So I migrate from my old house and I find a suitable place to live, so I build a house etc. Suddenly out of nowhere a boar comes and KO's me :o . So I wait for a couple of mins and the boar goes away. I wake up and the boar comes again but doesn't aggro me. Instead it follows me around. It just keeps following me like a puppy but doesn't do anything. Is this some kind of bug or...?
EDIT: What's the time for animals to despawn?
The pedoboar is after me...

jesus christ how horrifying

Sounds like one of these demon boars.

On a serious note, I'm at a loss as to what could cause the boar to act as such. Usually, animals will only follow you around when you're in the process of taming them.

The boar will despawn after 20 minutes of not being seen by a player.

So, the pedoboar is a common problem. Now I have to check under my bed everytime I go to sleep.

Can you tame boars?

I've had them act odd like that before. They KO you and then even after you get back up they seem to be friendly. If you wait long enough though they do agro again. If you get a chance to log out while not agro'd do so wait say a half hour and log back in. It should despawn if no one is around to keep it there.

Yes, for pigs.

Waiting inside a house or cave works, too.
