H&H- y u no connect?

When I go on the haven and hearth website, I click play. I sign in and then download the autohaven.jnlp. I run the autohaven.

It says, "Connecting..."
Then it's all "Could not connect to server"
My internet is fine, but no matter how many times I try, it won't connect. Help!

PS: I'm running on a Mac OS X version 10.5.8
My processor is a Dual 2.3 GHz PowerPC G5

There isn't a lot of mac support here. Sorry.

First, did you check the home page to see if the server is even up? This is typically the error message when the server isn't even online.

The one spot I've seen some mac support is one particular thread in The Wizards' Tower for one of Ender's client. I don't have the link handy, though.

Have checked for anything flat blocking the connection? Local firewalls or anti-virus programs can block some connections. If you're connecting through a school or work network, they could be doing the same thing, except you won't have any control over it.

No, I have nothing blocking my connection. I don't use school/work computers to play H&H. It's not a faulty account, I've played on it recently on other computers. It used to work. Maybe it could be my Java version?

It very well could be. I really don't know what to tell you to check, though. I forget which ports need to be open, but sometimes Windows has them closed on default when a computer is first set up (ie default factory settings if you didn't install Windows yourself and possibly some versions that I'm not familiar with).
