The worst monsters in the Hearthlands warp the fabric of space and time..

Freezing

Most people I've met in game have this error. You'll be playing, fine and dandy. Suddenly BAM, nothing moves. The mouse is stuck, can't open a console.
Even while typing this, I had Haven & Hearth running in the background, it froze and I had to restart.

I was thinking perhaps it was a graphics card thing.
Something very interesting is this:
When I close my laptop, the screen goes off. When it freezes and I close my screen, it does not go off. I don't believe (for this reason) that it's a graphics card thing, as the power control to the laptop screen isn't regulated, only rendered by the graphics card.
I could be wrong though. I'm using Ender's client, I have Java32. The regular client freezes for me as well though. It doesn't happen all the time, but often enough that it could cause problems.
I could see this causing my death in the near future, so help is highly appreciated.

I'll add my computer specifications, though seeing how many people have this error, I don't think it matters (unless there's a pattern).
Windows XP professional service pack 3.
2 gb ram
Intel duo core P8600 @ 2.4 ghz.
chipset is Mobile Intel 4 series express

checking my Event Viewer, I notice many "warning"s under category 52 and 54 (event 4353, 4356) EventSystem is the source.

These errors never appeared before I started playing - which wasn't too long ago.

Well, if you want more info just ask, if you know the solution please help. Thank you for your time.

This started happening to me tonight as well, on 2 different computers running 2 different operating systems (Win7 & XP). It's to the point that I can't play!! I log in, start to exp[lore, 2 minutes later, freeze! Rinse and repeat. :(
