Cannot Stake Claim

Each time I try and get land for my claim it doesn't let me. I have enough LP for it, and all it says is: Land Management: Selected Area: (0x0) =0 mBI
Could anyone help with this problem? I've tried selecting land, but none of the buttons work, I've tried all the buttons on my keyboard. I could use some help soon, because me and my buddy need help getting land for our settlement.

You need to make sure to update to the latest version.

(Assuming you're using Ender's client and didn't update it properly when you downloaded it.)
