Cannot extend wall behind tree

Postby kobnach » Mon Oct 12, 2009 6:49 am

I am building a wall. I extended it behind an apple tree. The tree is maybe 2 squares from the wall, but part of the top obscures the wall. I wish to extend it past the tree, but I can't seem to click on the end to extend it. All I get is option to pick branches etc. I'd rather not chop my only apple tree.

Experiments with a plow pretty conclusively demonstrate the area is paved. Also, I have no difficulty picking up the plow.

p.s. A half hour game of hunt the pixel finally found me a spot I could click. But please fix this.

We need a toggle that shows all objects behind objects no matter the circumstances
Excluding players of course, Hiding is fun

if you're behind a tree (or other object) all objects behind the same tree will be highlighted in yellow ....... just hide in the foliage for a while so it lights up and then right click it as normal
loftar: New hair styles? Really? Seeing how Jorb never gets off his lazy ass to draw some, I almost want to add them to the game proper.

It doesn't work sometimes when a pixel or two are peaking from behind the obscuring object. You have to actually find the pixel and click it to achieve results.

Yes, I believe that's what happened here. The odd thing was that when I placed the plow behind the tree, in the same spot where the wall's next extension would go, standing behind the tree made the plow visible - but not the active end of the wall. Apparently it had that pixel or two sticking out.
