But seriously, some time ago I began stealing every beehive in the main grid not nailed down, and now my java vomits up a lung every time i view my beautiful collection. Also, I think they are at war with eachother, and the hives in the center of the gigantic seething pile are bright red and nearly destroyed. Very awesome.

It's an early symptom of anaphylactic shock, caused by all those bees stinging you. Serves you right for hoarding so many hives

But seriously, graphics causing lag is an ancient problem in H&H. Try walking through a big wheat field and you'll see what I mean. It's always been like this.
