Lag Spikes (Internet Lag)?

Hey. So, I am very new to Haven & Hearth, and really love the game. However, I experience severe internet lag (my fps is fine) when playing. I will be walking and suddenly I will twitch to another part of the map, or, I will freeze in place, while my character still does the walking animation. Other times, it takes forever to load up the inventory, etc. I am on a wired connection. My internet elsewhere is fine, what is the problem here?
