Reinstalling game Client?

Postby G3752 » Fri Jun 29, 2012 2:16 pm

After I try to log into Enders Client I get a "Permission denied:create" error. I can not find enough information to solve this problem. All i find is this: http://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=14575&p=247510&hilit=permission+denied+create&sid=3a027eb335bf11194292948b7e49f3a2&sid=09056a6f87551b9bf02d0deba9c2e433#p247510. I am not sure what this person did but i would like to know how to reinstall the original client. I would appreciate your assistance as the original client keeps crashing on me for no apparent reason.

To get rid of the original client, open the Java control panel. Under the General tab, there is a Temporary Internet Files section. Click the settings button and delete all files.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Thank you. It didn't help though, I still crash for no reason after logging into the regular client and I still get the "Permission denied Create" error in enders. Can anyone help me? Here's the error log from the original client.

You should update your Java

also i don't understand why ppl think they'll need another firewall software installed when they have an ok firewall coming with XP already... :?: :!: :?:

fixed for ya. ;)

After all, if someone wanted a BETTER firewall, they'd at least go with Norton or McAfee.

Yeah, that was a bit (a bit?) of sarcasm there. :)

Yes, it would be quite a technical discussion, one I'm not even up to par to having anymore. It's just been too many years since I've dug into details.
