Stuck in a boat...

So, I had read the wiki and learned that if I log out in a boat I get stuck if I dont have swimming? But I am in shallow water and cannot disembark the boat for some reason...any useful help would be wonderful

It's really simple and you're going to kick yourself for it but, all you have t do is hold the control key and left click where you wanna get out.

I had the same problem, I couldn't figure out how so I had to log off and back in.
Looking for help. I'm sort of new to this and I'm trying to get my camp well structured.
