Frozen With salt Shaker

So, The other day, I waded through the lag and decided to go out adventuring in my boat. It was highly laggy and I should have known better, but I got to a point where I had to unload an item from my inventory to make room for a mushroom, and the game froze when I had a salt shaker in my hand. Then it crashed. I tried loading it up where I logged out, and it was frozen with a floating salt shaker. I can't interact with the game, except that I can turn night and day on, and turn graphics off.. I am very sad. I decided to try going back to my hearth fire, and now my character is frozen with shaker forever on her green flame I don't know what to do. It has been frozen for at least 3 days now.

I should also add that my game has froze before when I was dropping an item, but has unfrozen itself when I logged back in.

What client are you using? Whenever that happens to me, I just press tab to open my inventory and put the object back into my inventory.

If you are using the default client, I suggest looking into Ender's client.

One more thing I should've mentioned: You can't drop pepper shakers or peppermills onto the ground. They are the only objects in the game that behave in this way. Most likely because of sloppy coding that caused the game to crash when dropped, so out of laziness Loftar probably said "Fuckit, I'll make them undroppable. Let's get drunk again, Jorb."

YAY!!! You fixed my issue, I just needed to tab to get my inventory up. Thanks a lot! and to answer your question, I am using ender's client
