Jorb...How could you let this happen?

This is an absolutely game breaking bug. It completely detracts from the ambiance of the game, takes away all believability, and frankly just makes me sick...

What is it you ask? Something as trivial as a single piece of fuel for any oven-type object? hardly! I'm talking about the fact that a fired kiln's sprite is slightly off-center from the unfired kiln such that upon lighting, the kiln appears to hover off the ground.

How this bug has gone unnoticed thus far is unfathomable to me. This is srs bsns.

You can deposit the red cape directly into my inventory, or I can meet you at the RoB, whichever is best for you.

Maybe I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure the capes are given out for reporting exploitable bugs that break game mechanix.

To my knowledge, this is the case with every animated built object.
Or at least it was, haven't thought about it lately.
But yes, it is extremely disturbing.

Loftar's fault, not mine. ;)

You don't think dozens of players abruptly having to log out because of insupportable virtigo caused by this illusion is not a game breaking mechanic?

I think the original poster should get a cape in a colour that's even more special. Say iridescent. Or one that changes colour every time they log on.

Anyway, hopefully the devs will make fixing this one their first priority. If the server has to be taken offline for most of the weekend to fix it, so be it. We can't go on like this.

I know, it is a horrible, horrible bug that has caused me ocular hemorrhaging more than once. The problem is that there are so many different root causes for it, from a bug in the client, to one in the data compiler, to me just having misunderstood the protocol I've created, and it isn't too easy to find out where it is, so I haven't bothered. I know that I have sinned. I expect to be punished for it sooner or later.

On another random bug that has been there forever note, the build menu icon for smelters shows the old version of the smelter.
