Can't exit house

Heya, I haven't played in quite some time (just returned because I heard the lag was fixed, and it seems to be- great work). I logged onto my character who was logged out inside of a bed, but I can't seem to exit the house anymore. When I right click on the door he walks over to it, but never exits. It worked fine in the past. Any solution?

what about your hearthfire? it is inside too?

Looks like my hearth fire is gone. The option to spawn on it is not on the log in menu and traveling to it says "You have no hearth fire to travel to".

Mmm ... seems to me that either:

- The house exit point is blocked by some blocking object.
If that's the case. I think the client gives a message about that (I'm not sure though). ... Is there any client message when trying to exit the house ?

- The house has lost his connection to any valid world location.
just a hypothetical case ... if all else fails. Your house world-map location and general last played date might be helpful here.

(Only time claims seems to block jumping into them, is when trying to log-on while the character's location is on a claim for which he has no trespassing rights.)

wouldn't that still let him out but have him stuck on whatever object is there?

if your house has been claimed by someone and you don't have trespassing you're screwed. if the house no longer exists and you somehow got it to ghost(somene else had this issue) you're screwed.

read this thread, don't think those guys ever got out.

Could be. (I don't have any data to confirm or deny it.)

iirc, it wouldnt. you may have to get rid of the object that is blocking the door. you may have to make a new char and see yourself.
(you get stuck on someone else's hf behind the door, but that doesnt happen with other objects, say, like a cupboard, i think.)

The outside of the house should be entirely under my claim, unless there is a means of destroying claims
