I finally got the game to work but now when i click "New Character" nothing happens, any solutions?

What client are you using? Try using a different client and see if you can create a character with that

Also check that Antivirus, Firewall, Router isn't blocking

Also when lag spikes it can having you waiting forever. Ive had that happen but try the above suggestions first.
