Characters gone without a trace

So I logged in after two weeks of inactivity and both my main and my alt (who is in a completely different area of the world) are gone without a trace. I've relogged and reinstalled the client, nothing works.

I also do not have a inheritance stone upon creation of a new character. Note: I use a vanilla client.

I don't know if you have heard but world 7 started and all past characters were deleted.
