Cant get to game.

I enter pass. Then, after a minute or two, char selection screen is loaded. I choose to spawn on my hearth fire, wait for a minute again and get half-a-screen loaded like the situation on the screenshot.

Everything is happening really slow. Even when i enter the password stars are filling one by one slowly. I have newly installed windows XP with all drivers installed, latest version of java and all that stuff. Tested vanilla client too. Got same shit, but all tiles loaded, but still character immovable. Any ideas?

try setting the affinity to one cpu if you have dual core. If all of your drivers are up to date it sounds like your computer is just too slow.

Too slow for HnH? Rly? I got Acer AO751h netbook. And i ran even league of legends smoothly on it.

I got the same problem with my desktob atm. Its as shitty as hell lol!
Try using the "normal" client. that works for me!

So we really found a computer, which cant run HnH? I use super ultra-cool Intel Embeeded Drivers for this shitty GMA 500 which allows me to play League.

i tried with different Netbooks yet and all didn't run HnH very well - afaik LoL bases on Net and HnH client is based on Java/OpenGL - that might be why you can run LoL but not HnH smoothly

HnH's engine isn't really the epitome of performance.

Haven runs almost purely on a single CPU core so that might explain why a 3D non-java game like League of Legends runs so much better; they can utilize the GPU. Although it feels to me 1.6 Ghz should easily be able to run HnH sparingly, it does not apparently. The single core factor doesn't help either.

Edit: for the record, on my 3.3ghz i7 920 I get 52 FPS tops, it even refuses to utilize 1 core to the fullest.

Do you think it will run if i overclock this intel atom 1.33 ghz to something like 1.50?
