Resetting Leather Tanning Bug [Solved]

I put a deer hide in a tanning tub and used the boat bug to get the tanning process to 92%. I then went inside and AFK'd to wait for it to finish, but when I came outside a few minutes later the tanning process had reset to 92%. This has happened twice so far.

How long is a "few minutes"? Any time the map unloads, the leather tub resets back.

Well, I don't know the exact point at which the tub reset, but I checked about every 15 minutes and it reset almost every time.

if you leave view of the bugged tanning tub it locks up when the outside map resets. Sttay in view for the 8% it needs to finish and/or afk an alt an you are golden.

Actually, put the tub in a boat, then take it back out. It will be instantly at 92%.

I did, then I lost track...
Sleepier at 22 than at 4 it seems.
