Somehow I doubt you intended houses to be built as barricades for doors.

Now that some bugs and bug use have been fixed apparently lamers will find/use new ones. Hope you guys keep on your toes with the removal of this kind of bullshit.

Require one surrounding space around houses? As to it being a bug, it's more of an exploit but I think we can agree that it doesn;t go in In Congress or How do I? Right?

Wasnt there some sort of intervention by loftar/jorb back in W2 or W3 for acts such as this?

Did that stop because of the change that made buildings destroyable?

Not adjacent to a gate then.

I think it's an obvious fix, just remove houses from the game ;)

Objects blocking gates has always been a problem, even in w3. What if there was the ability to designate something to decay while on your claim. This would induce a slow 3-4 day decay that would eventually remove an object that's on a claim. This won't interfere with sieging at all and will allow newbie and generally weak claim owners to remove things on their own.

This way we keep our houses next to each other and ward against similar problems in the future.

Is there any particular reason that houses need to have so much soak? What would be so terrible about being able to destroy them by hand at base Str, and just give it a large amount of health so they can live through a reasonable amount of decay (so people without Yeomanry wouldnt get screwed)?

I think it's the fact that you can troll any dhelm tank by letting him inside the house, bashing the house and bam, he's KO'd. Take his armor off and kill him. That's just retarded.
Edit: OR blocking someone in with an alt, and bashing the house.
