[Solved]Cannot access Claim Screen

Apologies in advance if this has already been reported.
I had a claim with a timber house on it.
I extended the claim and then changed my mind thinking I didn't need such a large claim.
I declaimed.
I got all the resources needed and built a new claim but the system allowed me to build it too close to the house.
Now I cannot access the claim dialogue as nothing happens when I right click on the claim icon (similar to when I right click on a chopped tree which falls on something)
All I can think to do is to destroy the house but I only have stone axe (no metal yet).

I have tried re-logging.

adventure > declaim plot

then rebuild it somewhere else.

I thought the only declaim was on the Claim screen.
