my character is missing and it wasn't logged in

i opened up the login screen and i noticed my character wasn't there, is it possible to lose a character without being logged on????
take note, I didn't have any kind of criminal skills trained so that couldn't of caused it

I was playing the game yesterday was the world wiped today?

i wasn't online and i dident have swimming trained but ya i was logged out as in i was not online and i opend my login screen to get on the game and noticed my character wasn't there anymore


and my dead body was on the land

Then you were in combat before your character left the world.
You were then killed.

Could of been aggro'd in the 5 seconds it takes for you to log out.

Your character was definitely killed and if you are positive that you did not leave any summonable scents then it would have to happened when you were logging out. I'd advise never logging out while your character is outside of a house. Someone boating by with lucky timing will be able to shoot you before the character actually leaves the world.

Happened to me too. My only theory is that my character was starving and was losing HHP while logged off.
