Chieftain can wear hirdsman cape but not helmet?

So yeah I noticed my Chieftain was able to wear are hirdsman cape, so in my horrible first batch of wrought I made a hirdsman helmet because that's the best helm we can make, turns out my chieftain can't wear that. I know Chieftains have their own hat, but it's not armoured, and for the Chieftain to enter into battle with their Hird, would make sense they should be able to wear the same helmet as their brethren in arms.

Meh, this is how I do it: Make someone chieftain, make chieftain make someone hirdsman, make said hirdsman chieftain. That's how I was both chieftain and hirdsman :3
Now I'm both lawspeaker and hirdsman :) Anyway yeah, I don't think chieftains can wear hirdsman's cape either... Not if I recall correctly.

Well my Chieftain is wearing hirdsman cape, that's why I made the assumption. I don't see why Chieftain shouldn't, as technically the Chieftain is always by default the primary member of a hird. ;)
