food giving wrong stats

I was eating Fox Wursts for a Intelligence upgrade, and instead of Intelligence I got Perception, I had only Fox Wursts and nothing else, I have also had a Similar bug when eating Boar Boudin and some Piglet Wursts for Strength, the bar was over 50% red but I got constitution instead.

The food bar does not give the stat that you have filled the most. The larger the bar, the greater the CHANCE of getting that stat when you get a food event. Even if you have only 1 FEP of a stat, it's possible to get that stat.

Fox wursts give 2 FEP of intelligence and 1 FEP of perception. Therefore, you have about a 2/3 chance of gaining int and a 1/3 chance of gaining per if you eat nothing but fox wursts (not taking into consideration how it handles FEP overflow).
