(Not a Bug)Personal claim posts prevent you from logging

If you log off while editing your claim, you won't be able to log back in where you left off because you are standing on the same tile as the post. I tried to get help from jorb a long time ago with this, because I couldn't log in at my hearth fire for gameplay reasons, and I needed to log in where I left off. His response was effectively "Go fuck yourself, deal with your own problems", although in slightly nicer words. He also proceeded to delete my entire base out of spite, revealing my hearth fires to enemies. I never got this back, I lost weeks of work. Thanks a lot.

Anyways, there may have been a misunderstanding, maybe he was having a bad day, I'm over it. This just needs to be fixed.

What reasons are there to log out while "editing" your claim ?!?

He also proceeded to delete my entire base out of spite

I don't think he would do such "out of spite" ...

To date there have been a number of base deletions but they have all involved: crashing the server repeatedly to hack characters, ddosing the server, illegal vaults, or some combination of them. If your base was deleted, it was not because of a message to jorb.

(loftar also nukes some vaults sometimes. There was also the time with the bugram that was sent to deadspace)

If your over "it" your message would/should have looked like:

In addition:
- "while editing your claim": Did you got a different result when you loged-off at you claim post while not editing your claim settings? (probably not tested.)

... Kinda remind me of loggin-off while sitting in a chair. ...
(You do I one's, and learn not to do it again.)

I had a palisade base 8 walls thick with no door. This is still less secure than a single brickwall. Give me a break. After all the work I put into it I deserved to have it. I looked up all the rules on vaults and I didn't break any rules that were listed.

He never said anything about me breaking rules or having an illegal vault. He only said that I caused my own problem and to deal with it. Which is true to some extent. And yes, I couldn't use my hearthfire because I'd be stuck in my base forever. In that respect it is my fault. But what if another player had traveled across the entire map and the same thing happened(and they had nothing remotely resembling a vault)? It wouldn't be unreasonable for somebody to ask for help so that they don't have to travel ALL THE WAY across the map again

I tested it, if you are standing on the same tile you can't log in, even if you don't have the edit window open.

I had no reason. It just happened. I quit the client while I was standing on the tile, editing my claim. This is bound to happen to other people
