[SOLVED] My character just disappeared, I cannot inherit..

Hi there,

I had my first characater, slowly discovering the game. I had a small ranch, sterting to prostepct and mine. Today my game crashed with this error:

so I restarted the client, but no characted was in the list! So I tried several times, then though my character died somehow, so I created new one.

- But there was no runestone in forst room either! So I cannot inherit anything

- I can enter hearth secret and new character is spawned on my place. There is still hearthfire from old character. But I cannot use anything there.

Is there any posibility my old character is still live, but somehow paused or whatever?

is it an unlit hearth fire with green fire? or is it just an unlit fire with just wood?

What Client in what version and what did you do when client crashed first time?

Guessing you're on Ender, chatting and clicked Wiki Button ?!?

Guess we have to wait till the server is up - if your first char is still not appearing in char selection screen you need to check with your new char if first chars HF is lit - if it isn't check creation room for inherit RS again

If first char isn't appearing in char selection but HF is lit i suggest trying with default client for a test before attempting any other steps

Thanks for your expertise, I will check as soon as I return home from work. I'm pretty sure that my hearthfire was lit with name above it, I was ported to the heartfire using downstairs ...
just that day I finished gate and created key-alt as found on the forum in advices for noobs, so at least I have access to the building itself, but with all=10 LP=0 char.

I will keep in touch and update my status, thanks again.

This is not good. My first character is still gone from login screen. I tested on default client, with another new character, (just to see if I have any heirloom runestones in first room - and there was none) and my hearth fire is lit. My hearth secret also works, as downstairs opened for me to port there.

If my heartfire is lit, it menas the charcter is somewhere on the server, but inaccessible? Possibly only unlinked from my accout?
