I can't access my stake claim!!

After constructing my first log cabin, I declaim my stake and move it to a space above the house, within the sprite.
I shift-click and place it down.
And I can't access it anymore.
Seriously?

I'm guessing you can't access it because it is behind the house now so what you have to do is get enders (the client) and hide the houses (using control + h)

A screenshot would be helpful to demonstrate. Do what Nooby suggests and post one if you are still having issues.

However, if you stand behind the house, everything that is obscured even partially by another building (or tree, etc) should get a highlight so you can interact with it. However, if the server is going nuts, you often don't get the highlights.

Here are the pictures. House is hidden for easy sight.
The stake is placed behind it. I use shift+place to be able to place it behind the house.
I activate the stake but I am unable to access it. No window pop up. Nothing

Please have a command to declaim stakes within claim range.

Did you try to approach the sign from the side?

On the other hand this thread shows why shift+place with stakes is a bad idea besides not blanking the minimap ...

After building my house, my stake was in an unfavourable position, so I decided to move it behind the house.
Since I couldn't do so, I used shift+place.
Which led to this.
I totally did not expect this kind of outcome.

its prolly a bug or somthing... cant you destroy your own stake or somthing? or does it not refund Lp?
