Stuck in purple limbo

I just recently started this game with a few friends and after running around a bit my game crashed. I respawned at my hearth fire, but now I cant move or do anything at all.

Please help fast, my friends just started today and I'd really like to show them around so they stay.

Open ports in Firewall by making exceptions or set port forwarding in Routersettings:
TCP 1871
UDP 1870

Another point might be updating your graphic drivers

Also this is the wrong subforum - it should go to the custom clients (Ender) thread in Wizards Tower ...

I dont think its a problem with enders launcher. If i try to use the original client, it just doesnt work at all (says "loading" the entire time)

If it was ports of graphics drivers it should never have worked at all. I could play normally for like 2 hours before this happened

I was hoping for suggestions that would help me solve this.

If it was a port problem, it wouldn't connect me at all. If it was a driver problem, it wouldn't be able to render the graphics and I wouldn't have been able to play at all.

Since I was playing for a few hours before this, it can't be those things. Don't take everything so personally...

It fixed itself a few minutes ago, but then I recalled to my hearthfire and now I'm stuck again

lol why don't you just try the suggestions and when they don't work tell it to look deeper into it.... and if you think i take it personal: i file it under "another know it all that doesn't care that his problems appeared different times before and i'm too know it all to search the bugs section or other subforums if it had happened before and if there's a solution..."

If it was Ender only i'd suggest deleting belt.conf files but "the loading" tells me something is blocking the traffic ...

Ok sorry. I'm just used to asking for advice and people telling me i should check my firewall settings and ports, like that isn't the first thing anyone would check when these problems appear.

I forwarded the ports and checked my graphics drivers.

I can play normally for a while after I tried to log in 10 or 20 times it sometimes works. but then I'll get a random disconnect and the whole thing starts again. I am currently stuck out in the wildernes and the ground is black. I don't want to spawn back at the hearthfire, because I'll probably get stuck on it again anyways...

Edit: Also, I dont seem to have a belt.conf file

belts_charname. conf are created when filling the hotkey bars in Ender

You're not happen to use a Speedport router ?!? Are you connecting by WiFi (Wlan) to your router or by ethernet cable?

You might do a

in a CMD window to have a short look if there are timeouts in your ISP routing to HnH server

my guess what happens: there is not enough traffic between your client and HnH server - not all needed resources are getting downloaded before you're trying to do a move thus the client freezes or crashes - we need to look for a solution step by step - the more infos you give the better

Edit: Current situation: I reverted back to hearthfire. Ground is still black. I can see my friends and some ants move around for a second or two, then they just stand in place. Left it for a minute or two before doing any clicks, but still nothing.

yep Speedport that's what i thought - there have been more people having problems / showing same symptoms with certain Speedport models and playing HnH - some exchanged it with other models so if you can borrow a non Speedport model i'd try ... sorry i can't help you more - I'll send you a PM
