Things dissapearing one night. Bug or theft?

I believe this is a bug because, you see, I had 2 rabbit furs and 2 rabbit paws on a drying rack and a cupboard in front of them. Both of these things are gone, and also nothing else, considering I have a lot of other and more important stuff. Was that a bug or did someone just troll me with that?

EDIT: Also, nothing else is touched, and as usual, I have a few damaged things. Does the cupboard disappear if not in a house, and also do the leather and paws disappear too, if not collected?

most likely someone just stole them and not a bug.
important stuff for new players are not always valuable for others, also, some love to let you down just for their lolz.

most things decay on unclaimed land.
some things decay on unpaved tiles, even if they are on a claim, such as drying racks.
some things decay outdoors, even if they are on a claim and/or on paved tiles, such as cupboards.

Well, they decayed then. I don't think anyone stole them because my friend said he was on and they were still there. Well, anyways, I got a new rabbit. No paw, sadly :/ I'm bound to get one sometime Thanks for the reply.

Cupboards decay outside, one decay hit and u lose everything in them. So its a gamble leaving a cupboard outside topside
